Coronavirus Updates

Oct. 2, 2020

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today’s update will be brief and positive – two things that, at times, have been a challenge during this pandemic.

Most significantly, we continue to have no active COVID cases among team members or residents. This absence of cases is not only a reflection on our policies and procedures, but the cooperation from everyone associated with our community to adhere to them as best they can.

Testing remains a primary focus and will continue in line with guidelines from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, next week we will administer the first of our flu vaccination clinics throughout various levels of living.

In mid-September, we welcomed back friends and family of independent living residents for visitation. At the time, we heard from many family members of residents in our health center who were eager for similar opportunities to see their loved ones.

We are pleased to announce we have submitted a visitation application with Texas Health and Human Services to allow visitors for residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support. We are currently awaiting approval, but anticipate we will have more information to share in the coming days.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support, encouragement, prayers and positive thoughts. Any inquiries or general questions can be sent to me or the leadership team at

Take care and stay well.

James Kneen,

Executive Director
