The Buckingham Names Cynthia Lamison as Healthcare Administrator

The Buckingham, a premier senior living community in Houston, is pleased to announce Cynthia Lamison, LNFA, RN BSN, as its new healthcare administrator. As the healthcare administrator for The Buckingham, she is tasked with ensuring safety, compliance and best care practices for the assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing levels of living at The Buckingham.

Lamison brings nearly 30 years of healthcare-related experience to her new role. She began her career as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in 1993 and has held management roles across all levels of living including independent and assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.

“I am honored to join The Buckingham team as its new healthcare administrator,” said Lamison. “The healthcare center continues to achieve the highest clinical outcomes in the city and received deficiency free surveys in 2015 and 2017 and continues to earn a 5-star rating. I look forward to getting to know each of the residents and ensuring all needs are met through enriching programming. I am grateful to be part of a talented team who can offer seniors access to better care and, in many cases, a better quality of life.”

In 2007, Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Science in Business and Healthcare Administration and became a skilled nursing administrator. In 2020, she went back to school and completed the RN BSN program.
